Hi! I’m Yasmin — an actress and singer-songwriter based in YYC.
I grew up in Poland and Israel, spending my childhood as a professional actor — from TV competitions and voice-over gigs to musical theatre. Along the way, I learned the ropes of performing, how to stay calm under bright lights, and that storytelling is way more fun than sitting still.
I started out in NYC, where I trained at the New York Film Academy’s Musical Theatre Conservatory and earned my O-1 Artist Visa and discovered how to walk 12 blocks in 12 minutes without losing my coffee. Since then, I’ve worked in short films, theatre, and music, picking up stories (and a few accents) wherever I’ve lived.
From Indianapolis, where I shot my first indie films and experienced real Hoosier hospitality, to Las Vegas, where I honed my craft and learned that casinos are just as much about people-watching as gambling, to Austin, where I live-streamed on Twitch and embraced the love language of breakfast tacos — every place has shaped how I perform and create.
After spending eight months in Newfoundland teaching voice and piano and getting to know just about everyone on the island, I’ve landed in Calgary, building on-screen work — ideally anywhere that doesn’t require taking Deerfoot.

Not all Men
Yasmin will appear as Chantel in an upcoming short film " Not All Men" written and directed by Justin Kueber — an Edmonton-based, award-winning writer and director known for his strong character-driven work across narrative features, documentaries, music videos and commercials.
